Hi, I’m Tu, the proud creator and founder of VolumeandLength Hair. My story began long before the official launch of the Hair business in 2018, which, like many entrepreneurial journeys, started humbly in my bedroom and kitchen shortly after I arrived in Australia.
For 13 enriching years before moving to Australia, I worked as a Cabin Crew, including three unforgettable years with a Russian airline. This incredible career gave me the chance to travel the world, immersing me in diverse cultures and introducing me to the fascinating networks of human hair merchants in Russia. It was during this time that I discovered the true origins of hair extensions, spanning continents and communities, and I became captivated by the potential they held.
From Supplying to Creating
My entrepreneurial path began as Raw Hair Transporter from Vietnam to Russia while working for Russian Airlines as Cabin Crew
Then soon after leaving Aviation job and moving to Sydney at the end of 2017, I started Hair Extensions business a supplier of premium hair extensions, importing high-quality strands directly from Russia for salons and stylists across Australia. From the very start, my vision was clear—to connect hair professionals with exceptional products that would help them bring their creative visions to life.
From Supplier to Creator
My journey with VolumeandLength began with a simple goal: to provide high-quality hair. But I soon realized that I wanted to do more than just supply a product—I was inspired to create.
This inspiration sparked a new direction. I shifted my focus from simply selling hair to meticulously crafting bespoke, custom-made hair extensions tailored to the unique needs of each stylist and their clients.
My path wasn’t a traditional one. After learning foundational skills from a dear friend in Russia, I dedicated myself to the art of hair. It was a self-taught journey of passion and discovery, learning to create every type of extension and blending every color by hand. This process of creation has brought me immense joy, a feeling that rivals the excitement of building a business.
With this newfound purpose, my goal became clear: to truly empower stylists.
I wanted to provide tools that would not only help you transform your clients with stunning, confidence-boosting results but also enable you to grow your business with ease. By 2024, after six years of growth, learning, and navigating the challenges of a global pandemic, I made the life-changing decision to establish a production house in Vietnam, my home country.
This step wasn’t just a business expansion; it was a deeply personal milestone. It gave me the chance to fully immerse myself in every stage of the production process—from sourcing the finest raw materials to perfecting intricate chemical treatments and processes. Beyond that, it allowed me to assemble a team of skilled and passionate artisans whose craftsmanship lies at the heart of everything we create.
